About the role
Media Head France
Mars is seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Head for France to develop and manage executional comms plans across paid and owned media, content, and data. The objective is to implement the cluster's data-driven One Mars ICP connection plans, covering brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
What We Are Looking For
- Marketing/Advertising qualification to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a media agency or relevant in-house client role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous media, creative, or marketing leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop annual brand media (PESO) executional plans aligned with regional strategies and signed off by France.
- Act as the Brand Champion for one priority brand, providing local insights as the media expert to regional teams for campaign builds.
- Create culturally relevant executional comms plans, incorporating the latest media and tech landscape learnings.
- Champion 'Fit for Platform' content and support global/regional teams in capability building through content test & learn initiatives.
- Collaborate with the European Regional Media Team (MCF) and Global Media Team (MAT) to develop and deploy best practices.
- Own the execution of the in-year comms (PESO) plan with the agency team, supported by cluster portfolio teams.
- Drive media ROI and manage the full A&CP budget and process cycle.
- Provide strategic input to the social media team for the France cluster.
- Serve as the primary France Cluster contact for the Publicis relationship.
- Be a part of the cluster marketing leadership team, leading the function’s agenda.
- Drive visibility on advertising legislation changes in the cluster and ensure compliant communications plans.
- Develop engagement and clarity of the total Strategic Demand function as part of the Strategic Demand Management Team (SDMT).
