Cloud Automation Architect Hosting Environments at Mars

The Technology Owner for Web Hosting is a recognized expert responsible for the strategy, modernization, and optimization of web services infrastructure. They provide deep technical expertise, enforce architectural best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally with development, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to deliver world-class web hosting capabilities across hybrid environments such as AWS, Azure, and on-premises.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Hands-on experience managing web hosting platforms like IIS, Apache, and Nginx.
  • Experience with container-based web services using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise with cloud web hosting solutions e.g. AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Azure App Services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of domain management, DNS, SSL/TLS, WAFs, and load balancing.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux based web applications and servers.
  • Strong grasp of web application security and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical strategy and design of enterprise web hosting platforms.
  • Provide expert guidance to product and engineering teams regarding architecture and performance tuning.
  • Define and manage the technology roadmap for web services infrastructure, including legacy modernization.
  • Drive secure, high-performance, and highly available platform implementations using cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
  • Oversee lifecycle activities such as deployment, monitoring, updates, patching, and decommissioning.
  • Manage integration with DNS, CDN, WAF, load balancing, SSL management, and API gateways.
