About the Role

The CARS Senior Lead at Mars reports to the CARS Director and is responsible for leading operations and architecture for Next Generation Technologies and Intelligent Automation Hub solutions. This role supports Mars’ digital strategy by designing, operating, measuring, enhancing, and scaling solutions that drive growth, efficiency, quality, risk management, and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with strategic partners to optimize support and deployment models.
  • Innovate and design architectural patterns for current and future solutions.
  • Provide leadership within Digital Operations and Architecture.
  • Collaborate with teams to coordinate operations for scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Configure, deploy, and retire infrastructure and user accounts.
  • Manage capacity planning and ensure process efficiency.
  • Create documentation and knowledge articles to mature processes.
  • Assist with service management by building reporting, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with audit and process governance.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure (PAAS, AKS, Azure ML Ops)
  • Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience in large enterprise environments and ITSM
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • A quick learner with a strong drive for results and innovation

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with AI/ML support
  • Experience with container technology
  • Knowledge of Automation Anywhere, Celonis, Power BI, and Datadog
