About the Commercial Data Analyst Role

As a Commercial Data Analyst within the M&S Financial Services team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions using data-driven insights. You will analyze customer behaviours, propositions, products, payments, and loyalty schemes to enhance commercial performance and improve customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver analysis to enhance Financial Services products and propositions.
  • Provide insight into performance and conduct deep dive analysis to identify trends.
  • Translate customer segmentation and channel information to improve journeys and revenue.
  • Shape the Financial Services loyalty programme to drive incremental spend.
  • Forecast new proposition impacts on the P&L using current product usage data.
  • Support annual product budgeting process with customer volume forecasts.

Who You Are

You are highly analytical and strategic. You have advanced SQL or Python skills, and a strong grasp of statistical techniques including forecasting, regression, and clustering. Proficiency in MS Office suite and MS Power BI is required.
