Purpose of the PPC Specialist Role
The core purpose of this role is to design, implement, and continuously optimize paid advertising campaigns to achieve measurable results aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Functions
- Receive client briefings and define campaign objectives.
- Develop strategic media plans.
- Set up and configure Google Tag Manager.
- Manage and optimize Google Merchant Center.
- Create and configure campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Develop compelling ad copy and creative briefs.
- Execute continuous optimization and meticulous budget management.
- Analyze campaign results and provide detailed client reporting.
- Coordinate with other departments (SEO, design) as needed.
- Contribute to blog articles, adhering to content criteria and deadlines.
In-depth Responsibilities
As a PPC Specialist, you will be instrumental in:
- Defining the optimal digital marketing strategy for each client.
- Planning, creating, and optimizing a wide range of Google Ads campaigns (search, shopping, discovery, PMax, display, YouTube) as well as Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Configuring comprehensive setups, including creating tags, events, funnels, audiences, content groupings, conversion pixels, and managing Google Tag Manager.
- Coordinating campaigns directly with clients and performing ongoing optimizations.
- Preparing detailed campaign reports and managing all client reporting and communication.
Day-to-Day Focus
Your daily tasks will include:
- Launching and monitoring SEM/PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn Ads, Programmatic, Native, and Amazon Ads.
- Managing substantial advertising budgets.
- Overseeing national and international campaigns.
- Setting up and maintaining Tag Manager.
- Working extensively with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Creating and controlling e-commerce and lead generation campaigns.
- Monitoring key performance indicators such as CPLs, CPAs, ROI, and ROAS.
- Optimizing campaigns for maximum profitability.
- Utilizing strong analytical and mathematical skills to work with large data volumes.
- Proficiently using Google Data Studio (Looker) for reporting.
Required Experience
We require at least 2 years of demonstrable experience in:
- Google Ads
- Meta Ads
- Google Looker (Data Studio)
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Managing investments exceeding 10,000€/month.
- E-commerce campaigns.
Nice to Have Skills
- Agency experience.
- Amazon Ads experience (Vendor/Seller).
- Entrepreneurial spirit and business initiative.
- Familiarity with ClickUp.
Valuable Assets
- Google Ads certifications.
- Other relevant certifications.
- Advanced knowledge of Tag Manager and GA4.
- Experience with automation, sequences, and scripts.
