Role Overview: Data Engineer
This is a crucial senior role for an experienced Data Engineer who excels in technical implementations, understands client business contexts, and can adjust to varying knowledge levels. You will lead client projects, mentor junior and medior marketing engineers, and build the operational foundation of our company.
Core Responsibilities
- Client & Project Leadership: Manage client relationships, expectations and project success from start to finish. Tasks include server-side Google Tag Manager configurations, advanced tracking integrations, and building scalable, secure custom data warehouses.
- Team Mentorship & Culture: Mentor junior and medior team members by coaching on soft skills, client communication, and project management to foster professional growth and a supportive team environment.
- Operational Partnership: Lead the professionalization of operations, designing processes, structures and systems to scale our impact without sacrificing quality.
Experience & Skills
Technical Expertise: Proven experience on a major cloud platform (GCP or AWS), hands-on skills in SQL and Python, and a robust understanding of database systems. A willingness to learn new technologies is critical. Experience with big data systems (e.g., BigQuery or Azure Synapse), analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, PostHog) and advertising APIs (Google Ads API, LinkedIn Advertising API) is a plus.
