The Role
The Privacy Intern will report to Marigold’s VP of Global Data Privacy and provide critical support across internal audits, records reviews, and security collaboration initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to privacy operations within a global SaaS organization. You will gain experience facilitating internal audit processes, analyzing compliance documentation, understanding core privacy principles that drive global regulations, and supporting governance and security standards. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across Legal, Security, and Compliance teams.
What You’ll Do
- Review and assess critical vendor documentation to support privacy and compliance standards
- Analyze privacy records and recommend updates or improvements to strengthen documentation accuracy and completeness
- Assist Legal and Security teams in preparing for and conducting internal audit meetings
- Support governance, risk, and compliance initiatives in partnership with the Chief Information Security Office team
- Help maintain organized records and documentation related to privacy and data protection programs
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across privacy and security processes

You are detail oriented, analytical, and eager to learn about privacy and data protection in a global SaaS environment. You enjoy working across teams, organizing complex information, and strengthening processes through thoughtful documentation and review.
