Microsoft Modern Work Engineer

Role Overview

The Microsoft Modern Work Engineer at Marco Technologies is responsible for delivering client-facing professional services projects focused on Microsoft Modern Work technologies. You will design, implement, and optimize solutions utilizing Microsoft Entra, Intune, Autopilot, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and Quest Migration tooling.

Essential Functions

• Gain expertise in Microsoft Modern Work technologies including Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot.
• Deliver client engagements: assessments, design sessions, implementations, and post-deployment support.
• Lead device management initiatives: Autopilot enrollment, compliance policies, and endpoint security.
• Architect and implement Microsoft Entra identity solutions including Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
• Perform migrations using Quest Migration tools and update Group Policy to cloud-native Intune policies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues with identity, device management, and collaboration workloads.
• Provide technical mentorship, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in the Microsoft Modern Work Technology Practice Group at Marco.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants should hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber/Information Security or related fields, with 5+ years of professional services or systems engineering experience. Microsoft certifications (MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104, MS-102, etc.) are preferred.

Required skills include deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Intune, Autopilot, Office 365, Active Directory, GPO management, and experience with Quest Migration tools. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and familiarity with NIST or CIS security frameworks is essential.

Location & Remuneration

This is a remote-eligible position requiring residency in specific U.S. states (e.g., DE, FL, IA, IL, IN, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, ME, NE, ND, NJ, PA, RI, SD, TX, WI).

Pay Range: $91,488 - $146,381 annually, based on experience, skills, licenses, and education.
