Head of Growth Marketing
Marco Polo is seeking a Head of Growth Marketing to lead end-to-end growth initiatives for their new offering, Marco Polo Circles. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and team leadership within a purpose-driven consumer company focused on fostering genuine connections.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to own the growth of a product that facilitates friendship building through video messages. You will be instrumental in driving profitable growth for a consumer app, leveraging AI as a core component of modern marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full growth funnel for Marco Polo Circles, encompassing acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, referrals, and upgrades.
- Develop and implement market strategy and execution plans, leading a team to achieve growth targets.
- Drive paid marketing performance by planning, launching, and optimizing campaigns across mobile and social channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.).
- Manage a cross-functional growth team, including marketers, product managers, and designers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Identify, pilot, and scale AI tools across acquisition, creative, and lifecycle marketing to enhance growth capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of growth or performance marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role at a consumer company.
- Deep experience in paid user acquisition across mobile and social platforms, with strong command of mobile measurement and attribution.
- Active practice and demonstrated success in leveraging AI in marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Experience marketing a subscription product and understanding of LTV, payback periods, and sustainable growth economics.
- Proven ability to drive results with lean resources, prioritizing effectively and maintaining team well-being.

Compensation
- Base pay and equity.
- Target annual salary: $200,000 - $250,000.
