About the Role
The Senior Technical Product Owner at Manulife drives the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative products. You will act as a key technical bridge between business and development teams to deliver exceptional value to customers.
Position Responsibilities
- Own the product backlog and prioritize features.
- Define and test hypotheses using experiments and data analysis.
- Lead agile teams through epics and sprint management.
- Drive product strategy, planning, and delivery of key capabilities.
- Act as the voice of the customer by incorporating user feedback.
- Monitor and report on product KPIs and trends.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to remove obstacles and manage dependencies.
- Create detailed Jira Stories, Epics, and Tasks.
- Utilize emerging technologies to shape future product directions.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- BA or BSc in a technical discipline.
- Experience in data architecture, data modelling, and service-based architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Jenkins, Azure, PCF, APIs, SQL, GenAI, and Power Platforms.
- Programming experience with Java Springboot, .NET Core, or Node.js.
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical and creative strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
