The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for a Senior Technical Product Owner within Manulife’s Products and Platforms team. The role is responsible for owning Cloud and AI based automation development in Agile Scrum Development Squads to enhance both Developer and User experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own Agile development scrum team(s) with a focus on cloud and automation.
  • Create and prioritize a scrum backlog based on business value and ROI.
  • Elaborate user stories and perform agile scrum ceremonies.
  • Engage with application owners, developers, cloud operations, and security teams.
  • Develop technical release content for stakeholder consumption.
  • Deliver solution presentations and demos during reviews and meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Product Owner in cloud services, automation, and orchestration tools.
  • Technical expertise in Cloud automation, DevSecOps, and security/monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms and low code/no code tools.
  • Proven experience with Agile development and Scrum methodologies.
  • Product Owner certification and a technical background in IT projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large, complex environments is a plus.

Working Conditions

This role is based in a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in office and 2 days working from home. Office locations are in Toronto, Canada or Boston, USA.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range is expected to be between $94,220.00 CAD - $174,980.00 CAD. Manulife offers customizable benefits including health, dental, and retirement plans, among others.
