Lead Power Platform Reliability Engineer

Overview

As a Lead Power Platform Reliability Engineer at Manulife, you will enhance the mission to deliver a capable, governed and compliant service. You will craft and refine enterprise-level applications using the Power Platform, integrating with Power BI, Dynamics, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead Power BI and Power Platform Global CoE forums.
• Design & Development: Develop design documents and build low code solutions using Power Apps and complementary services.
• Solution Construction: Implement end-to-end ALM best practices and premium Power Platform capabilities including Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Virtual Agents, Copilot, and AI Builder.
• Expertise Utilization: Partner with stakeholders for project and release plans.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor team members in building Power Platform solutions.
• Knowledge Advancement: Stay updated on trends to improve product reliability, efficiency, and performance.

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is available in Montreal, QC; Waterloo, ON; or Toronto, ON with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days from home).

Required & Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development and distributed/data analytics architecture.
• Experience in regulated financial institutions.
• Expertise in Power Platform development is highly valued.
• Preferred: Knowledge in Power Automate Desktop, Power Virtual Agent, Power Pages, AI Builder, Azure, .NET/C#/React, and Dynamics 365 integration.
