About the Role

The Business Intelligence Technical Lead at Manulife will join the Business Insights and Analytics team at MBPS. This role involves transforming data into insights, recommending visualizations, and building a high-performing data analytics team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with US Operations and BI leadership to identify business needs.
  • Manage governance of Power Platform tools across environments.
  • Oversee JIRA items and ensure adherence to team standards.
  • Develop team talent by identifying improvement areas.
  • Process reporting, analytics, and dashboard requests.
  • Leverage available technology to build sustainable solutions.
  • Assess data & analytics maturity and recommend optimization methods.
  • Advise on reporting, analytics, and BI best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal partners and support tool adoption.
  • Lead or support additional reporting and analytics activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least seven years in Power Platforms, BI tools, big data, and Azure platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Power BI, Qlikview, SQL, and Data Lake.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) Certified.
