Position: Mechanical Technician II
Shift: 1st Shift (8 hours)Compensation: $20-30 per hour depending on experience
Overview of Role
The Mechanical Technician II is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. The role requires intermediate technical skills, problem-solving, preventive maintenance contributions, and occasional mentoring of junior team members.

Key Deliverables
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, pumps, HVAC systems, and conveyors.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical failures using advanced repair techniques.
- Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning and calibrations.
- Assist with system upgrades and record maintenance activities.
- Mentor junior technicians.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications preferred. At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience, proficiency in mechanical repair techniques, reading technical manuals, and knowledge of maintenance management software are essential. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel out of town with overnights required.
Technology and Additional Requirements
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), diagnostic tools, and specialized maintenance tools. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and physically perform maintenance tasks.
