Position: Automation Service Specialist - 1st Shift

This role supports field operations for industrial robots and automation systems. The specialist will travel for scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls while interacting with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site service, troubleshooting, and repair for industrial robots.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and system optimization.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues.
  • Install, commission, and integrate new robotic systems and components.
  • Collaborate with engineering, plant maintenance, and production teams.
  • Document all service work in detailed reports.
  • Train customer personnel on operations and basic maintenance.
  • Adhere to robotics safety standards and compliance.
  • Travel for scheduled and emergency service calls.

Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in robotics, automation, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple brands of industrial robots.
  • Proficient in robot programming and reading schematics.
  • Knowledge of industrial networks and control systems.
  • Experience with EOAT, vision systems, and welding robots is a plus.
  • Certifications such as OSHA or NFPA are preferred.
