The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliber Tax Director with deep corporate tax expertise who is ready to move decisively beyond compliance work and operate as a true strategic advisor. In this role, you will work directly with founders, CEOs, and high-net-worth clients — solving complex, high-stakes tax challenges and collaborating across an integrated wealth, CFO, and investment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead corporate and pass-through tax strategy for high-income individuals and closely held businesses
- Design and implement advanced tax planning structures — including multi-entity, partnership, and S-Corp arrangements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to founders, CEOs, and high-net-worth clients
- Collaborate cross-functionally with wealth, CFO advisory, and investment teams to deliver fully integrated client strategies
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring quality and compliance
Qualifications & Experience
- Required: Active CPA license, 10+ years of experience in corporate tax, with a preference for public accounting or advisory environments, demonstrated expertise across corporate and partnership taxation, proven ability to navigate multi-entity structures and complex ownership arrangements, strong client-facing communication and advisory presence.
- Preferred: Background at a Big 4 or top-tier regional firm, experience advising on M&A, transaction structuring, or exit planning, entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment, demonstrated ability to think strategically — not just technically.
