Solutions Architect – Platform Configuration & Development (RPO Technology)
ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect – Platform Configuration & Development. This role is for individuals physically based in the UK or the Netherlands.
Purpose
The Solutions Architect – Platform Configuration & Development is an individual contributor responsible for designing, configuring, and evolving RPO technology platforms to meet client and business needs. This role partners closely with the Manager, System Development & Architecture, translating architectural direction into scalable, maintainable, and high-quality platform solutions that align with enterprise technology strategy while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure RPO technology platforms to support client-facing and internal solutions, in alignment with approved architectural standards and roadmaps.
- Develop detailed system designs, configurations, specifications, and solution documentation to ensure long-term stability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, solution validations, and technical assessments under the guidance of the Manager, System Development & Architecture.
- Act as a technical connector between RPO stakeholders, implementation teams, support teams, and product owners to ensure solutions are feasible and well-integrated.
- Partner with Systems Implementation, Support, and PMO teams to support change management, testing, training, and adoption planning.
Platform Configuration & Development
- Configure and enhance RPO technology platforms to support new client requirements, product capabilities, and operational improvements.
- Assess enhancement requests and system design improvements in collaboration with Implementation & Support teams.
- Validate configurations and integrations to ensure solutions meet functional and quality standards.
- Support launches of new capabilities by ensuring solutions meet timing and quality expectations.
- Provide technical input for pre-sales and client discussions.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Clearly articulate platform design decisions and impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional alignment sessions on solution design and implementation.
- Communicate configuration changes and technical recommendations clearly and consistently.
- Serve as a trusted technical partner contributing to continuous improvement.
Success Measures
- Timely delivery of configured platform solutions aligned to architectural roadmaps.
- Measurable improvements in technology efficiency and usability.
- Successful adoption of configured solutions across client programs.
Required Experience
- 3–5+ years working with staffing, RPO, or talent technology platforms.
- HR Technology background, CRM/ATS (Workday, Avature, etc.)
- 3–5+ years in solution design, system configuration, or platform development roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma or architecture-related certifications.
- Experience in global, matrixed organizations.
