Sustainability Compliance Specialist at Manpower España
Manpower España is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Compliance Specialist for a 1-year temporary contract with a leading technology client in Barcelona. This role requires office presence and offers an hourly rate of €15.67.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the detection, analysis, and implementation of sustainability regulations specifically across the Nordic (Sweden, Norway, Denmark) and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) regions.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with a broad range of regulations including WEEE, batteries, packaging, eco-design, waste shipment, supply chain responsibility, materials, climate, ESG, and the circular economy.
- Provide essential support for the analysis of EU-level materials regulations, such as RoHS, REACH, and PFAS, contributing technical insights to consultations and advocacy efforts.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with global teams to maintain a clear and current overview of sustainability regulations that impact the business operations.

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a specialization in sustainability, environmental policy, or other directly related academic fields.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability policy frameworks and critical compliance requirements.
- Proven strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and effective project management expertise.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with the ability to effectively influence diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive self-starter mentality, combined with strong analytical thinking, a collaborative teamwork ethic, and high adaptability to evolving regulatory landscapes.
