You will join an agile and multidisciplinary team comprising a Tech Lead, Product Owner, software engineers, and computational linguists.
Your Mission
Your mission as a NodeJS Software Engineer - Conversational AI will be to develop new capabilities for the conversational assistant, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and quality in the user experience.
Your Role
- Design and develop conversational agents using Generative AI and multi-agent architectures.
- Develop new functionalities using Node.js/TypeScript, deployed on Google Cloud Platform (Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Redis).
- Integrate the assistant with various channels such as web, apps, WhatsApp, Instagram, telephone, and systems like Salesforce or Talkdesk.
- Collaborate with linguists to design prompt strategies, guardrails, and evaluations, ensuring LLMs provide reliable and brand-aligned responses for Mango.
What We Look For
- Solid experience in backend development with Node.js/TypeScript and microservices.
- Experience integrating external APIs.
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or NLP, or demonstrated high interest in specializing in this area.
- User-centric mindset.
- Cloud experience (GCP preferred, but AWS or Azure is valued).
Desirable / Nice to Have
- Experience with virtual/conversational assistants.
- Experience with agentic architectures (LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP).
- Knowledge of NLU/NLP.
