Senior Data Analyst - Digital Customer Insights & Analytics
Join M&T Bank's Customer Insights & Analytics Organization as a Senior Data Analyst on the Domain Analytics Team. We empower Marketing and Digital Product organizations with data-driven insights to foster business growth, enhance customer relationships, and accelerate digital adoption.
Key Areas of Focus:
- Experimentation & Measurement: Design and analyze tests to optimize customer acquisition for Retail and Business Banking segments.
- Cross-Channel Analytics & Attribution: Understand customer interactions across channels and identify key drivers of engagement.
- Digital Journey Analytics: Uncover insights from web and app behavior to improve customer experiences.
- Digital Product Enablement: Partner with product teams throughout the development lifecycle, providing data support for new feature launches and performance measurement.
- Data Products & Ad-Hoc Analysis: Develop dashboards, self-service tools, and deliver rapid insights to address business inquiries.
Position Responsibilities:
- Explore, mine, and profile data across multiple large, complex datasets to derive and interpret insights for statistical and quantitative analytics.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Ensure high-quality analytics delivery through data quality checks, collaboration on data model design, and adherence to best practices for code documentation and storage.
- Perform complex data manipulation and analysis using common programming languages.
- Track and report on the performance of multiple campaigns, identifying and explaining deviations and variances.
- Consolidate findings for clear business consumption.
- Develop business intelligence solutions tailored to specific business needs.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with peer teams.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
- Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management.
- Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Promote an inclusive environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and regulatory requirements.
