Overview
M&G is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Life business unit within the Change & Transformation team. The role focuses on the oversight and assurance of business change and transformation delivery, ensuring alignment with broader M&G strategy.
Role Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex projects.
- Define business case, objectives, scope, resources and expected outcomes.
- Create high quality project plans with risk mitigation, assigning responsibilities.
- Evaluate performance and adjust plans as needed based on scope, budget, and risks.
- Maintain governance standards including RACI, RAID logs, and Service Now records.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project benefits across the organization.
- Conduct lessons learnt sessions and support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with teams including technology, suppliers and other business functions.
- Facilitate training workshops to enhance project management capabilities.
Skills and Competencies
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who can facilitate large workshops, motivate teams, and build relationships. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, financial management expertise, and an advanced understanding of project management methodologies.
Experience and Requirements
- Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery, including turning around failing projects.
- Essential experience in Financial Services and Risk/Regulatory Change Delivery.
- Experience working in controlled and regulated environments with business, technical and regulatory projects.
