Role Overview: Manager – Privacy Advisor

This position is dedicated to improving the overall control environment and reducing operational risk at M&G. The role focuses on providing subject matter expertise for complex privacy related queries, supporting Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and ensuring privacy compliance across all regions of M&G PLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SME support on substantive privacy queries and high risk activities.
• Assist with Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy compliance activities.
• Advise on the use of personal data under Legitimate Interest, including conducting LIAs.
• Support and maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Foster a data protection culture and implement a Privacy by Design methodology.
• Escalate complex issues and seek the advice of the DPO when required.
