About Malwarebytes

Here at Malwarebytes, we believe that when you’re free from threats, you’re free to thrive. It all started in 2008 with one person who needed help with a malware infection, and a community coming together to find solutions. In that moment in time a product was born for all people, with a mission to rid the world of malware. Our product has since grown and evolved, from removing malware, to protecting devices, to ever-changing prevention.

About ThreatDown

ThreatDown, the corporate business unit of Malwarebytes, is redefining cybersecurity for growing businesses with solutions that stop ransomware, malware, phishing, and AI-powered attacks. Our platform is trusted, intuitive, and built for lean IT teams that need speed without complexity. At ThreatDown, you’ll join a team driven by innovation, resilience, and a passion for empowering businesses to thrive securely. If you're ready to make a real impact in cybersecurity, we’d love to meet you.

The Opportunity: Senior Product Manager, Commercial & Market Strategy

ThreatDown is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Commercial & Market Strategy with deep cybersecurity experience and a strong business mindset. In this role, you will own the product strategy across pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning within our cybersecurity portfolio. This position demands a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer value, and commercial outcomes. You will operate as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership, translating business goals into measurable product outcomes.

This role requires a business-minded Product leader who can drive alignment without formal authority, uses data to inform decisions, and translates portfolio strategy into effective product execution.

What You Will Do

  • Own and evolve pricing and packaging strategy across cybersecurity products, including tiering, bundling, and monetization models.
  • Partner with Product Managers across multiple products to shape portfolio-level pricing and packaging, offering guidance and recommendations while respecting product ownership.
  • Lead competitive analysis and competitive intelligence, translating market insights into actionable strategy and positioning.
  • Perform financial analysis to evaluate pricing decisions, packaging changes, and product investments, including margin, revenue, and ROI impact.
  • Partner with Finance on vendor pricing analysis and negotiations, ensuring commercial decisions align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership to set direction, align priorities, and drive consensus.
  • Define, track, and communicate business and product metrics such as ARR, NRR, adoption, attach rates, churn, and margin impact.
  • Develop business cases and data-driven recommendations for product investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Influence roadmap prioritization by connecting customer needs, market opportunity, and financial outcomes.
  • Support go-to-market efforts through clear value narratives, competitive insights, and measurable success criteria.
  • Maintain a high bar for attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in pricing, packaging, metrics, and stakeholder communication.

Skills You'll Need To Have

  • 5-7+ years of Product Management experience.
  • At least 1 year of Cybersecurity industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience owning or strongly influencing pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy.
  • Demonstrated track record of financial analysis, including revenue modeling, margin analysis, and ROI evaluation.
  • Experience supporting or leading vendor pricing discussions or negotiations.
  • Strong background in competitive analysis, market research, and win/loss insights.
  • Highly analytical, metrics-driven, and comfortable using data to guide decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with a disciplined approach to execution and decision-making.
