Sales Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to oversee both sales and project management functions. The role includes coordinating resources, communicating with stakeholders, driving sales efforts, and fostering strong client relationships.

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Negotiate labor rates with Director of Operations approval.
  • Coordinate pre-construction meetings with key project staff.
  • Attend safety meetings to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Manage material procurement, purchase orders, and inventory reviews.
  • Create work orders with installation diagrams and instructions.
  • Prepare weekly installer payroll accurately and timely.
  • Communicate job status updates to team and clients.
  • Document change orders and manage project closeout processes.

Sales Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Generate new sales opportunities to expand project portfolio.
  • Review and submit accurate bids and proposals.
  • Provide ongoing sales support throughout project lifecycles.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role includes interviewing, hiring, training, and directing employees in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in construction.
  • Proficient in Pro Core and Construct Connect software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 25% for meetings and project oversight.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role involves prolonged computer use, standing, and minimal lifting in an office environment with occasional tight deadlines.
