MAKO INDUSTRIES is seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Service Electrician to perform service calls at commercial properties. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and other facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls promptly.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial settings.
- Install, repair, and maintain lighting, panels, circuits, outlets, wiring.
- Perform inspections; ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding issues and estimates.
- Complete work orders, service reports, and maintain documentation accurately.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with dispatch, office staff, and other technicians.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state Journeyman Electrician License.
- 3–5 years of commercial electrical service experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes.
- Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
