About the Role

The Analyst, Policy, Integrity & Compliance supports Major League Baseball’s integrity and policy efforts related to sports betting. This role involves assisting with confidential investigations, regulatory research, and providing support to compliance, security, and business development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and support regulatory efforts related to gambling.
  • Enhance educational and awareness initiatives around sports betting.
  • Identify suspicious betting activity and analyze large datasets.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and monitor trends in the gambling industry.
  • Assist with investigations and provide support across multiple MLB teams.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R.
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets and data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and anomaly detection is preferred.
  • Knowledge of sports betting and gambling industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Salary & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 plus bonus, with a competitive compensation and benefits package including 401K, paid time off, parental leave, free game tickets, discounts at MLB Store, and more.

Location & Work Arrangement

This position requires in-office attendance five days per week based in the New York City or Boulder office.
