AI Development Lead

About MAJI

Maji is a French industrial group (235 employees, 7 sites) specializing in: composite materials, sheet metal sub-assemblies, and industrial painting. Today, the group is strongly accelerating on a key challenge: integrating AI into the core of its operations. In this context, we are strengthening our team with a central role: AI Development Lead.

Your Missions:

1. Development of AI Tools:

• Design and develop internal tools based on LLMs (assistants, business copilots, automations).
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures for internal data exploitation.
• Create simple agents to automate operational tasks.
• Rapidly transition from POC (Proof of Concept) to MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to production.

2. Structuring the AI Lab:

• Participate in structuring the group's AI lab.
• Quickly test use cases (industry, production, HR, commerce).
• Prioritize projects with high ROI (Return on Investment).
• Implement a rapid test & learn methodology.

3. Integration & Systems:

• Connect AI tools with existing systems (ERP, internal tools, etc.).
• Automate workflows via APIs.
• Structure data for AI interpretability.

4. Field Deployment:

• Train teams on tool usage.
• Support adoption across sites.
• Document simply (no-nonsense approach).

Required Profile:

• Solid development experience (Python, APIs, automation...).
• Good command of current AI tools (LLM, RAG, agents).
• Ability to build quickly and test rapidly.
• Autonomous.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: you build, you test, you adjust.

Environment:

• Position based in Aix-en-Provence.
• Occasional travel to sites.
• Permanent contract (CDI).
