Job Description
Clinical Pharmacist
Maine Medical Center is expanding its retail pharmacy services in the Southern Maine region and is seeking motivated and patient-focused pharmacists to join its team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility on Brighton Avenue in Portland. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about exceptional patient care and eager to help build and grow a new pharmacy program.
About the Role
The Clinical Pharmacist role involves reviewing medication orders for safe and effective medication use, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare personnel to achieve optimal patient outcomes, and formulating recommendations based on current literature and evidence-based practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from a recognized/accredited school or college of pharmacy required.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license with the Board of Pharmacy required.
- Experience: Previous pharmacist experience preferred.
- Additional Skills/Requirements: None specified.
