Overview
Join our 6-week paid Nurse Extern program designed for student nurses. You will be mentored by expert registered nurses, expand your clinical knowledge, and develop critical thinking skills through relationship-based care.
Responsibilities
- Clinical and classroom orientation
- Inpatient unit assignments across various clinical settings
- Full time 10-hour shifts, 7am - 5:30pm with an RN preceptor
- Weekly educational sessions specifically for the extern program
- Opportunity for additional clinical observations
Qualifications
- Minimum GPA 3.5
- Current enrollment in a Baccalaureate Nursing Program with successful completion of Junior year
- Availability to work the full six weeks and every other weekend
Required documents: Cover Letter, Resume, Current Official Transcript, and Recommendation from a Clinical Instructor on Letterhead.
Pay Range
USD 16.50 per hour
