Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead, Front End Technologies, who possesses both deep technical expertise and broad influence. This role requires a blend of architectural design and hands-on coding, with a strong focus on developer experience, scalability, and performance. Ideal candidates will have a history of leading modernization initiatives, building shared frameworks or design systems, and mentoring others to adopt best practices at scale.
As a Technical Lead, you will significantly influence the foundation of our SaaS products. Your work will empower product teams to deliver faster, safer, and more consistent customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with Senior Engineers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to build a unified, scalable frontend platform that integrates multiple SaaS products.
This is a hands-on leadership role, encompassing the responsibilities of an Architect, Builder, and Mentor. You will lead by example, designing reusable UI frameworks, modernizing legacy code, and guiding engineering teams in adopting improved patterns, tooling, and practices.
Why You’ll Love This Role?
- Outsized Impact: Your contributions will drive speed and consistency across multiple SaaS products, establishing the foundation for our next-generation unified platform.
- Meaningful Technical Challenges: You will tackle complex problems in platform architecture and developer experience that require balancing scale, complexity, and usability.
- Culture of Autonomy and Trust: We empower experienced engineers to make decisions, innovate rapidly, and see the tangible impact of their work without bureaucratic hurdles.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional frontend development experience, with deep expertise in major frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- 4+ years of experience shipping SaaS solutions to production (AWS, Azure, or GCP), balancing technical vision with delivery.
- Excellent mentorship and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and challenge senior developers.
- Clear and confident communication for explaining tradeoffs, documenting patterns, and building trust across Engineering, Product, and UX.
- Comfortable leading by example, prototyping ideas, proving new patterns, and scaling them through evangelism and mentorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice To Have Skills
- Strong experience designing and implementing extensible frontend architectures (e.g., modular React apps, micro frontends, plugin systems).
- Experience with our frontend stack (e.g., MUI, Vite[st], Tanstack, Emotion) and related technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker, Grafana, AzDO).
- Experience improving frontend developer experience (DX) through enhanced tooling, faster local development loops, observability, feature flagging, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility, and internationalization best practices.
- Exposure to domain-driven design concepts and their application to frontend modularization.
- Understanding of AI systems, including LLM architectures, token generation, and MCP frameworks.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging agentic AI and modern practices in the SDLC.
