Why does this role exist?

This position reduces operational bottlenecks and provides a confident, independent point of contact for high-volume, time-sensitive client communications and routine individual tax matters.

The Impact you’ll make

  • Manage client emails and draft compliant tax notice responses.
  • Review IRS/state letters and verify return details (1040/1044).
  • Handle inbound calls, qualify leads, and manage calendars.
  • Maintain and improve CRM data hygiene during system migration.
  • Document processes and ensure adherence to data security.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • US individual income tax industry experience and familiarity with 1040 and 1044.
  • Proficiency in Drake tax software or comparable systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with RingCentral, Outlook/Teams calendar management, and cloud file systems.
  • Reliable home office setup with necessary tech requirements.

Work Setup & Compensation

This remote role requires a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. Work hours are 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time, with a compensation of $6 per hour and no benefits package.
