Role Overview
The Manager Event Presentation for the New York Rangers oversees day-to-day logistics for the Rangers Event Presentation department. This role includes serving as the lead Stage Manager, managing performers, partner fulfillments, and supervising the Blue Crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Stage Manager at all Rangers home games and special events.
- Act as liaison with MSG Building Operations for technical and logistical details.
- Back-up show caller and execute in-game content for fan engagement.
- Manage logistics for performers including technical riders, tickets, and hospitality.
- Assist in managing partner activations, game day scripts, and staff coordination.
- Oversee onboarding processes for in-game entertainment and vendor qualification.
- Direct game night staff including Blue Crew responsibilities and payroll.
- Monitor budget costs and assist with media day shoots and invoice processing.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Event Presentation, Event Production, or related fields.
- Show caller experience in professional sports, preferably hockey.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organization and quick decision-making in high pressure situations.
- Ability to manage a large staff and work flexible schedules including all home games and external events.
