About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Legal Assistant to join our busy Construction & Projects team in Melbourne. The team is well recognised by government departments, major construction companies and developer clients for practical and commercial advice. This role works with an award-winning Construction Partner providing high level administrative and secretarial support in a supportive, close-knit team environment.

  • Draft and edit high quality legal correspondence and documentation
  • Liaise with clients, partners, lawyers and other stakeholders
  • Manage time entry, billing preparation and monthly billing processing
  • Assist with matter management including file handling and reporting
  • Perform general administrative duties

About You

Ideal candidates are self-motivated team players with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach. A strong work ethic is crucial for success.

Ideally You Will Have

  • Minimum two years experience as a legal or executive assistant in private practice
  • Professional skills in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with billing software, advantageous if familiar with Aderant Expert
  • Excellent interpersonal and secretarial skills
