The Role of a Data Business Analyst

As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in building and strengthening trust in our data through robust governance and management practices. This involves close collaboration with stakeholders across various business units to define, manage, and continuously improve data quality. You will also be responsible for coaching others in best practice data management techniques. Your contributions will be crucial in preparing our data for advanced analytics and AI initiatives, directly supporting the delivery of measurable business outcomes.

What You Offer

  • Strong data business analyst skills, including excellent relationship-building abilities to understand stakeholder requirements, communicate effectively, and partner for successful outcomes.
  • Proven experience in data management and applying data governance practices, ideally within the financial services sector or a related industry.
  • Proficiency with leading data management tools and platforms, such as Collibra, and familiarity with data analysis tools including SQL, Dataiku, Alteryx, and PowerBI.
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business improvements through effective data governance and management activities, always maintaining a customer-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, adaptability to change, and a keen interest in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
