Our Treasury Automation team, a vital part of the Digital, Data, Design & Engineering (D3E) division, supports critical Treasury functions including Funding, Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk Management, Capital, Provisioning, and Risk Modelling. We work closely with colleagues across Product, Credit, Data and Technology Platforms, and Regulatory Reporting to optimize business opportunities while managing risk effectively.

What Your Role Will Entail

As a Data and Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in leveraging data and automation, including AI, to develop powerful models and solutions. Your contributions will inform key decisions, enhance data-driven strategies, and refine processes across the team. This role offers the chance to implement new models, explore methods for improving data quality, and share knowledge to embed best practices throughout the organization.

What We Seek in You

  • 2+ years of experience as an engineer or data scientist in an agile, DevOps environment
  • A strong educational background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong programming experience in Python or similar languages
  • Expert in authoring complex SQL, with proven ability in tuning and optimization
  • Experience with Git version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab)
  • Experience with big data and cloud platforms is highly regarded.
