About the Role: Compliance Analyst at Macquarie Group
Our Banking and Financial Services Treasury Regulatory Reporting team in Sydney is responsible for producing regulatory returns for APRA, RBA, ASIC, and ABS. Working within our team, you’ll be part of a high-performing group that collaborates closely with key business stakeholders, other treasury and finance control teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What role will you play?
As an Associate Manager within our Advisory function, you will be a key contributor in supporting the broader business by interpreting regulatory requirements for Consumer Data Rights and acting as a key point of contact on appropriate treatments and judgments. You will help support and manage the governance framework around the provision of Consumer Data Rights data, ensuring its integrity, accuracy, and adherence to the Consumer Data Rights Rules.
You will also work closely with technical teams to help translate Consumer Data Rights rules and standards into technical specifications and collaborate with a wide range of teams across Banking and Financial Services to help drive outcomes and ensure our Consumer Data Rights solution is robust and compliant.
What You Offer
- A tertiary degree in business, commerce, technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a role focused on Consumer Data Right, Open Banking, or a similar data-driven regulatory environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of comfort working with complex technical specifications, API standards, and large datasets.
- Strong relationship building skills and stakeholder management skills and an ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A natural collaborator with a proven ability to drive outcomes and lead conversations with business leaders, legal, risk, and technical teams.
