About The Opportunity
As part of the Subrogation team, the Subrogation Analyst investigates multiple sources of health insurance data to identify possible accidents or physical injuries. The role involves determining responsibility for medical and pharmacy claims and working with expert teams to recover funds from liable parties.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate and determine recoverability of medical insurance claims.
- Communicate and negotiate with plan members, adjusters, and attorneys.
- Document collected information accurately using computer systems.
- Apply organizational, analytical, and time management skills daily.
- Review healthcare contracts and create medical expense spreadsheets.
- Process payments from recoveries.
What Experience You Bring
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent skills and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient multi-tasking and time management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in insurance, legal, mortgage lending, or related field is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual base salary starts at $55,000 with bonus opportunities based on recoveries, resulting in total compensation ranging from $70,000 to $127,000. Additional benefits include PTO, paid holidays, volunteer days, health/vision/dental coverage, 401(k) plan with company match, flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and company-paid benefits such as life insurance and short-term disability.
