The Opportunity

Mach3 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes in our dynamic job-shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Development and Optimization: Develop and optimize machining processes, design process flows, and create SOPs.
  • Customer Focus: Work closely with customers to align manufacturing processes with technical needs.
  • Project Management: Lead engineering projects from concept to production ensuring budget compliance.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide support in CNC programming, tooling, inspection, and fixture design.
  • Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Implement lean principles, Six Sigma and initiate process improvements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and address quality issues with corrective actions.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and production staff, promoting professional growth.
  • Cost Management: Analyze manufacturing costs and generate cost estimates.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on job-shop machining.
  • Extensive knowledge in CNC programming, tooling, inspection, fixture design, and CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Mastercam).
  • Experience in blueprint reading, quality control inspection, and adherence to ISO 9001 standards.
  • Strong project management, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
