About the Role

We are seeking a Global Product Line Director with strong Product Management experience, open to candidates in the US, Europe, or Asia. This role requires a willingness to travel globally up to 50% of the time. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing the long-term growth strategy for a line of business. This involves gathering market and customer requirements, defining business strategy, and collaborating with R&D, Technical Service, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to deliver successful offerings. The role also involves working with global and regional commercial teams to implement strategy and commercialize new products.

What You Will Do

• Manage Line of Business revenue and contribution margin.
• Develop and deploy global strategy by Line of Business in collaboration with commercial excellence and regional leaders.
• Manage strategy deployment through Key Strategic Initiatives (KSI’s) and track KPIs.
• Develop and execute new product development strategy based on Voice of Customer (VOC) for existing verticals, aligning with R&D and global strategy.
• Maintain New Product Development (NPD) governance through a stage-gate process, focusing on customer value proposition.
• Drive new vertical penetration leveraging existing products and aligned with global strategy.
• Manage strategic capital deployment for key initiatives.
• Oversee pricing strategies based on next best alternative and value equation.
• Manage customer churn and reduce unexpected losses.
• Focus on product lifecycle management with support from the Business Intelligence team.
• Monitor application developments across regions to identify trends.
• Act as a Global Ambassador for the product line, presenting at industry events to establish MacDermid Enthone as a global leader.

Who You Are

• Technical degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or Physics strongly preferred; business degree or experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a related field with proven success in delivering growth through strategy development and cross-functional deployment.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and analysis of product properties versus customer needs (VOC, features/benefits, product lifecycle management).
• Prior experience with established business processes (e.g., DBS, HOS).
• Proven team leadership and intercultural cooperation skills, with experience succeeding in matrix environments.
• Experience in scoping adjacencies, potential partnerships, and acquisitions.
• Willingness to travel globally extensively (exceeding 50% regularly).
• Strong spoken and written English; multilingual capability is a significant advantage.
• Good to excellent presentation skills, capable of representing MacDermid Enthone positively.
• Good to excellent PC skills, especially Microsoft Office products; Salesforce experience is an advantage.
