Macaroni KID is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its team as local publishers across the United States. This flexible, work-from-home opportunity allows you to engage with your community, entertain your children, and earn income along with fun perks.
Key Responsibilities
- Publish a weekly hyper-local e-newsletter and events calendar featuring family-friendly content at least 45 times per year.
- Write monthly articles on family-friendly activities and topics relevant to your community.
- Utilize social media to connect with readers and promote local attractions and events.
- Market your Macaroni Kid business to local businesses and organizations for advertising partnerships, keeping 100% of advertising revenue.
- Support Macaroni Kid HQ with national and regional advertising campaigns through reviews, article sharing, and social media posts.
- Complete the New Publisher Training within three months and participate in ongoing specialized training.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create engaging articles and accurate reviews. A writing sample is required.
- Demonstrated involvement in the local kid and family community (e.g., active in parenting groups, following local blogs).
- Ability to capture and perform basic editing of photos and videos.
