Job Purpose
The Manager, Enterprise Architecture supports the Enterprise Architecture Director in defining and evolving Maaden’s enterprise architecture across IT, OT, Data, AI, and digital platforms. This role translates the enterprise architecture vision, principles, and standards into practical domain and solution architectures. The Manager acts as a trusted architectural partner to domain and platform teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise direction, interoperability standards, and roadmaps. The focus is on consistency, integration, and execution, rather than setting overall enterprise strategy.
Key Accountabilities
- Support Enterprise Architecture Direction: Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures. Translate enterprise architecture vision and roadmaps into actionable guidance for domain, platform, and solution architects. Ensure architectural designs across data, AI, OT, and core systems align with defined enterprise standards.
- Govern Architecture Alignment: Participate in architecture reviews led by the Enterprise Architecture Director or Architecture Review Board. Identify risks related to fragmentation, duplication, or unmanaged technical debt and escalate where appropriate.
- Enable Cross-Domain Integration: Apply defined integration patterns and reference architectures across platforms and systems. Support end-to-end interoperability across IT, OT, data, and digital environments. Collaborate with integration, data, and platform teams to ensure scalable and reusable solutions.
- Partner with Domain and Platform Teams: Work closely with Domain Architects, Platform Architects, and engineering teams to support solution design. Act as a point of coordination between delivery teams and enterprise architecture governance.
- Architecture Documentation and Communication: Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, including diagrams, standards, and design guidelines. Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and constraints to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Qualification, Experience And Competencies
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in solution, domain, or enterprise architecture roles.

- Enterprise and solution architecture fundamentals across IT, OT, data, and digital domains.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand cross-domain impacts.
- Architecture governance, standards enforcement, and design assurance.
- Integration patterns and interoperability concepts.
- Clear communication and collaboration with senior architects and delivery teams.
Skills:
- Experience working within large-scale, complex technology environments.
- Exposure to industrial, mining, or asset-intensive environments preferred.
- Strong understanding of modern enterprise platforms (cloud, data platforms, integration, OT systems).
