Direct Support Professional at Lynn and Darla Supported Living

Under the supervision of the Community Integration Coordinator, you will provide direct support services to people with developmental and physical disabilities in their homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities and ensuring they receive full support to live active, independent lives.

Primary Duties

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities based on their IIP.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on personal issues and life choices.
  • Complete data collection, documentation, and administrative reports.
  • Ensure individuals have access to proper nutrition, transportation, and regular health monitoring.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and follow through on support plans.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Preferred 1-year direct support experience with developmental, physical, or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must hold current CPR/First Aid Certification (present upon hire).
  • Additional trainings in Crisis Prevention Intervention and Person Centered Training.
