About the Role

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. The Metrics team plays a crucial role in defining key business metrics used in decision-making. As a Data Analyst, Metrics, you will enhance the team’s capability to leverage data for optimal business decisions and gain substantial exposure to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze datasets to extract actionable insights and trends.
  • Take ownership of specific business metrics ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and finance.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Continuously improve data processes and analytical methodologies.
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Experience & Skills

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic data science/analytics roles, or equivalent positions within high growth environments. Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills are essential.

Work Arrangement

This role follows a hybrid schedule with in-office days (at least 3 days per week) and the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
