Customer Support Engineer
The Customer Support Engineer is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting LVIS Corp’s IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring system performance, security, and operational continuity.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor server uptime, network availability, and system performance.
- Maintain and enforce security protocols and compliance.
- Install, configure, and deploy computer systems and peripherals.
- Manage IT asset lifecycle including procurement and decommissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software licensing, and services.
- Ensure regular data backups and implement disaster recovery protocols.
- Apply software updates, patches, and security fixes.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot system errors and inefficiencies.
- Oversee user provisioning and access management.
- Maintain compliance, documentation, and deliver IT training programs.
- Provide responsive IT support to staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven professional experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of servers, networks, workstations, and security.
- Experience in IT asset lifecycle management and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and patching procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to train staff on IT and cybersecurity best practices.
