HVAC Controls Specialist - Data Centers
We're hiring a BAS / HVAC Controls Technician to support large‑scale data centers across the U.S. This is a remote role with occasional travel, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while supporting mission‑critical operations. You'll work across BAS troubleshooting, HVAC controls service, commissioning support, and system optimisation, with exposure to platforms such as Distech, Tridium, JCI, Siemens and Honeywell.
What You'll Do:
- Perform BAS service, testing, commissioning support, and light programming updates.
- Troubleshoot HVAC controls including VAVs, AHUs, CRAC/CRAH units, sensors, and controllers.
- Work with BACnet, Modbus, and IP‑based control networks.
- Support data center teams during upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Travel occasionally to key data center sites for high‑priority work.
- Document tasks clearly and communicate with project managers and onsite teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Background in BAS / Building Automation or HVAC controls.
- Experience with at least one major DDC platform.
- Ability to read sequences of operation, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working independently.
- Data center or mission‑critical experience is helpful but not essential.
