The Role
We are seeking an operational Country Compliance Specialist for Spain, acting as the liaison between our headquarters in Italy and the local Group companies. This role will ensure the implementation of corporate-defined Legal & Compliance initiatives, providing operational oversight, reporting, and ensuring correct policy application. The role reports functionally to the Group Chief Compliance Officer.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between HQ and the Country for implementing compliance initiatives and Group policies.
- Prepare periodic reporting on activities, progress, and critical issues, updating documentation to ensure traceability and evidence for audits and controls.
Legal, Privacy & Anti-corruption
- Coordinate with local and Group Legal Offices.
- Provide operational support for privacy-related activities.
- Support the local implementation of Group anti-corruption controls.
Management Systems, ESG, and Trade Compliance
- Assist in Quality (ISO 9001) and Information Security (ISO 27001) domains for audits, corrective actions, and evidence gathering.
- Coordinate the collection of ESG data and sustainability requests from the Group.
- Provide basic support for Import/Export and Trade Compliance controls.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, risk, audit, privacy, or quality, preferably in structured/multinational organizations.
- Basic knowledge of GDPR, anti-corruption, ISO systems (9001/27001), and document management.
- Legal education (preferably with a focus on the Spanish regulatory framework).
- English required; Italian preferred.
