Job Description

Medical Science Liaison Neurology South Germany at Lundbeck

As a Medical Science Liaison Neurology for South Germany, you will be responsible for our innovative monoclonal antibody in the area of migraine prophylaxis. Your tasks include building and maintaining relationships with external experts based on the exchange of scientific information. You will plan and conduct scientific events such as Expert Meetings and Round Table events. Additionally, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of scientific projects with external experts.

You will create materials for medical-scientific communication with doctors and other healthcare professionals, such as presentations and study summaries, and conduct medical-scientific presentations for doctors and other healthcare professionals. Your role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and the identification and collection of medical-scientific insights in the therapeutic areas you cover. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of medical-scientific training for employees in other departments, such as Sales and Marketing.

You will acquire and deepen detailed product knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the entrusted therapeutic areas, always adhering to the Code of Conduct, internal SOPs, and relevant local legal regulations.

What you bring to the team

  • Medical, pharmaceutical, or natural science university degree with a completed doctorate.
  • Experience in Medical Affairs within a pharmaceutical company, ideally as a Medical Science Liaison.
  • Understanding of the German healthcare system.
  • Strong curiosity, high adaptability, and strong sense of responsibility.
  • High willingness to learn.
  • High action and results orientation, as well as interest in working in cross-functional teams.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Strong team spirit.
  • Negotiation-level English skills.
