About the Opportunity
Luminovo is undergoing a significant global expansion, bringing its established European success to North America. This is a unique chance to be an early pioneer and join our burgeoning North American team. If you are a high-energy business developer, driven by curiosity and ambition, and you thrive on building new ventures and entering new markets, this role is for you. You will take ownership of the top of the sales funnel for a product set to revolutionize the trillion-dollar electronics supply chain. Join us as a Business Development Representative in our NYC office (hybrid) and transform cold prospects into warm, qualified opportunities that will drive our growth.
Performance Objectives
While expertise in the electronics industry is not required initially, a strong willingness to dive deep and understand our potential customers' unique challenges and how our software can provide value is essential.
Lead Generation
- Drive multichannel outreach using email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and partner networks to connect with technical buyers in the electronics industry.
- Leverage modern sales tooling such as Apollo, Lusha, Clay, and LinkedIn for efficient lead list creation and conversion.
- Personalize outreach at scale by tailoring communications based on buyer signals and account context.
- Execute and iterate on proven outreach sequences through experimentation and feedback.
Pipeline Generation
- Qualify Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) prospects by leading thoughtful cold call sequences to identify potential fits.
- Ensure a precise handover of high-quality opportunities to Account Executives with detailed notes and suggested next steps.
- Nurture long-term opportunities through consistent follow-ups and signal-based reactivation for lower-priority accounts.
Ownership and Feedback Loop
- Proactively track key metrics and leading indicators necessary to achieve goals.
- Contribute frontline insights to product, marketing, and sales leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and ICPs.

This role is an excellent stepping stone for those aspiring to grow into an Account Executive position, demonstrating a strong work ethic and developing industry expertise.
Team Collaboration
You will work closely with Jack (Account Executive for Canada and Western US), Matt (Sales Lead for North America), Sam (Business & Operations Lead for North America), and the broader Sales and Product teams to gain a deep understanding of the product roadmap, potential constraints, and to share customer feedback.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $78K - $93K
