Position Overview

This is a long term contract opportunity for a Senior Project Manager Healthcare Cerner at Luminous Technology Group. The role requires onsite presence in Ventura, CA for 4 days per week. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in project and program management within the Healthcare IT environment and must have Cerner experience.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Manage and lead complex IT projects in healthcare settings.
• Oversee planning, risk and issue management, and financial oversight.
• Use at least one enterprise-level PPM tool (ServiceNow, Clarity, Planview, or Smartsheets).
• Work collaboratively with clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and business leaders.
• Apply both Waterfall and Agile methodologies as needed.

Required Experience & Skills

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a preference for formal project management certifications. They must have over 10 years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in Healthcare IT, with proven success in leading large-scale projects across hospitals, clinics, and public health initiatives. Outstanding communication, leadership, and self-start capabilities are essential.
