Lumin Digital is seeking a Senior Digital Designer to lead digital design efforts, leveraging expert skills in Figma. You will be responsible for building, troubleshooting, and polishing digital experiences across various platforms including WordPress, HubSpot, email, landing pages, presentations, and sales enablement materials. Working as part of a two-person digital execution team, you will manage the daily digital queue, ensuring all work is polished, responsive, and adheres to brand consistency. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, such as fixing mobile layout issues independently and implementing design animations like scroll animations and micro-interactions. You will also own and maintain the Figma design system, ensuring it remains organized, scalable, and reliable for the entire creative team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Design and build visually polished, brand-consistent WordPress pages and posts.
• Create HubSpot landing pages and email templates that optimize for aesthetics and conversion.
• Evaluate, select, and configure HubSpot and WordPress modules to align with brand standards.
• Assess and resolve front-end layout issues including spacing, padding, and responsive behavior across devices.
• Independently implement web animations such as scrolling animations and micro-interactions.
• Own and maintain the Figma component library, updating and extending it as the brand evolves.
• Actively incorporate AI tools into design and production workflows to enhance output and speed.
• Produce and refine presentation decks and sales enablement materials using Google Slides.
• Provide primary digital coverage when your counterpart is unavailable, independently managing the digital queue.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure design consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Specifications

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

6-8 years of digital design experience in a B2B SaaS environment is required, with sufficient front-end literacy for browser self-sufficiency. Demonstrated experience designing for web, email, and presentation formats, supported by a strong portfolio of digital work, is essential.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma is non-negotiable.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Figma component libraries, including extending systems, creating new components with variants and properties, managing shared styles/variables, and ensuring library health.
• Proficiency in designing within WordPress, with a strong understanding of HTML and CSS beyond page builders.
• Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and fix layout issues (spacing, alignment, responsiveness) without developer assistance.
• Experience with HubSpot for landing page and email design, including confident evaluation and configuration of modules.
• A keen eye for responsive design and the ability to identify and resolve mobile layout issues.
• Experience implementing animations on live websites (scrolling animations, micro-interactions, lightweight motion).
• Proficiency in using AI tools to increase design output and team capacity (e.g., image generation, production tasks, content assistance).
• Strong working knowledge of Google Slides for presentation design.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage a diverse workload effectively.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach is crucial for team dynamics.
• Nice to have: Experience with deal room or sales enablement platforms (e.g., Trumpet).
• Nice to have: Basic JavaScript knowledge for tweaking scripts or adding functionality.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with CSS frameworks or utility-first approaches (e.g., Tailwind).
• Nice to have: Background in financial services, fintech, or B2B SaaS.

Travel:

Minimal travel, generally 12 days or less per year, with approximately two team get-togethers annually.

• 30 days: Ramped on tools, brand system, and active projects; independently handling incoming digital design requests with minimal oversight.
• 90 days: Fully owning the digital design queue, operating as a reliable, self-directed contributor and coverage partner.
• 1 year: Recognized as the go-to digital design resource, owning the Figma component library and design system, leading improvements, and proactively enhancing output quality.
